Travel With Kids
The first step of every trip to Macau is the hotel. Parents can choose from suites designed especially for their Famiglia, Famille, or Family, with separate areas for children and parents, at The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao, and the Sheraton Grand hotels.
Once you’ve settled in, make your way to the Kung Fu Panda to learn some new moves, Po’s Kung Fu Feast to have breakfast with your favourite characters. Just make sure the penguins don’t steal your dumplings!
Head into the city to explore the Ruins of St Paul’s Cathedral, Senado Square, and A-Ma Temple to feel the history of the city as it went from Chinese to Portuguese and back again. Then, head to the top or The Macau Tower to see all that it has become today. Little explorers will also love to spend an entire afternoon with the exhibits in the Science Center.
When it’s time for mom and dad to get some well-deserved rest by the pool, let the kids get out their energy playing at Qube 2 Kids Club, Planet J, or at the brand new Aqua World water park, home to Macau’s tallest water slides.
End an incredible time with a family cruise down the Grand Canal in one of The Venetian’s iconic gondolas, taking in the juggling Streetmosphere performers and the incredibly detailed architectural recreations that line the canal. Then, make your way to the top of The Parisian’s Eiffel Tower to see the city and the hotel from a brand new angle.

Reunite when you get back from the Eiffel Tower’s 37th floor observation decks or at Po’s Kung Fu Feast breakfast buffet in the morning to hear all about their incredible adventures in Macau. Then, pose for a picture with the most popular characters from the DreamWorks movies at the only place in Macau where you can meet Po, Toothless, Astrid, King Julian, Alex, the Penguins, and Shrek to round out an incredible day of family fun.
Immerse you and your family in the Portuguese history of Macau, from the architecture of Senado Square to the top of Mount Fortress. Maybe even stop on the way to the top and nibble on one of the city’s famous Pepper Buns. Then, tour the more Chinese side of the city at A-Ma Temple and the surrounding cultural complex. Older than the United States or Australia, this temple was the religious centre of Macau in its day.
Spring into the future with a trip to the top of the Macau Tower. On a clear day you can see the entire city of Macau, Zhuhai across the water, and even Hong Kong’s Lantau Island. Head back down to earth and tour the incredible exhibits at the Science Museum, twelve permanent exhibitions and several temporary ones are sure to spark the imagination of even the most reluctant scientist.
